[Bruce Garrioch] Sources tell Postmedia the deal is done and Travis Green is the Sens new head coach. Expectation is announcement will be made today. Green will be introduced tomorrow with press conference by POHO/GM Steve Staios. Owner Michael Andlauer will also be in town.

No ill will towards green. I was indifferent and this season really was a hard one to judge a coach on.
I think there are better options out there though so im glad it’s Ottawa that scooped him up.

I don’t hate Travis Green as much as I would hate him if we hired him.
So relieved Green didn’t get retained. A completely new system will be in town next year. As long as they don’t hire Gallant or Keefe, I’ll be pretty satisfied with the new HC.
