Dave Rothenberg.. only watches Rangers games and is a hockey analyst hahaha. The Rangers were not #1 ALL year long and they had stretches of crap play. Winning the Presidents Trophy by a point or two is not bieng #1.. Then Dave goes on to agree Florida is probably the best team… so the Rangers aren't? lol

Rangers guy talking about PP. The Canes PK and PP are numbers 1 and 2 respectively. Both ahead of the Rangers.

Rangers scored 7 5v5 goals against the Caps while the Canes scored 10 5v5 goals against the Isles where the Canes played one more game than the Rangers and, on a side note, the Isles had the worst PK in the entire league!
Also, the Canes PK against the Isles was a putrid 72% while, in the regular season, was 86%

It's pretty obvious Dave did not do his homework before this interview. For all that care to know, this is one of the least qualified people in all of NY sports media to have on the show discussing hockey. He's a baseball basketball guy on the OTHER sports talk channel. Probably more adept discussing pickle ball.
Canes win in 6 at home
Wouldn’t be surprised if game 1 doesn’t go canes way due to break between series and a history of coming in flat after a long break but they will find their game
Unless they choke… Canes win. Its theirs to lose. Rangers fans have a team to be proud of BUT the key for the Rangers winning is for the Hurricanes to make mistakes AND the Rangers in turn must capitalize on those situations.
The Hurricanes are not infallible its possible for the Rangers to steal this and win this series but its also very plausible for the Rangers have some very ugly, tough, demoralizing, and potentially embarrassing games during this series.
The Rangers need Sisturkin to be lights out and they have a better coach (and Rod is a damn good one himself) – these two things must be clicking for the Rangers
