Love both these guys. To many people do not understand that building chemistry is something that doesn't happen because you throw a lot of money to land good players. Those players have to develop a chemistry with teammates. I like what Blake, Robitaille et al are doing. They do need to obtain a true goal scorer(s). Guys who know how to finish.

The problem isn’t if pld can play or not. The problem is his attitude and how he gives up and leaves his team and teammates out to dry when he doesn’t like something or just because he felt like it. 2 other teams traded him away because they realized their team wasn’t going anywhere with him in the locker room. Count your losses and figure out a way to loose him it’ll be better for your organisation
I’ve been a fan since 86-87, pre-Gretz so I’m not some cup run fan. This Blake/Luc run team is the epitome of mediocrity. Get Luc as far away from decision making as possible…his relationship with Brisson is part of why the organization is now stubbornly saddled with PLD at 8×8.5.
As for Blake, he thinks he’s a Sakic/Yzerman level post player GM but he’s just not. He’s too busy waxing up his board with one eye on the team and the other on the surf report. To essentially run this mediocre roster back again is bloody insanity, yet from Spicoli himself, that’s what the fans can look forward to in October.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Absolute unacceptable level of response from those two buddies.
As a loyal fan, I will no longer buy the merch, pay the price for tix, or eat the tv bill until Rob Blake gets his permanent surfing papers.
