Honestly, this tells me he shouldn’t have been cleared to play. Call it a dive, call it selling the hit, but I really think he was brought back too soon from an injury that he wasn’t properly healed from.
I was full “bullshit bandwagon” when they miraculously brought him off LTIR for game 1 of the playoffs, but at this point, it’s pretty clear he has been playing through something that he should be sitting for.

He’s got a back injury. Herniated discs. If you have that injury then you know exactly what just happened to him. You can feel okay while doing extremely active things that you probably shouldn’t be doing but then something small like this tweaks you in just the wrong way. I know that feeling.
