Skinner haters real quiet noe
Low score but still very fast paced and exciting. On to Vegas again where the Oilers need more of that solid goaltending. Another exciting series.
They were 1 goal away from sweeping LA. Game 5 is gonna be a good one
This wasn’t a great game by skinner. Why do people just look at stats and that’s it? Watch every shot the kings took and tell me how many shots were there a screen in? Literally 0, kings lost because of no screens in front of the net and that’s the only reason.

The stats does not tell the whole story, on paper that Kings look like dominated over Oilers but in reality that Kings have not tried very hard to create more high danger chances because they were all crowded the neutral zone by not giving any breakthrough chances for the Oilers. However it also means that Kings have very little rush chances and was mostly just dumping pucks at Skinner and hope for the best. 33 shots but very few of those shots are actually threatening Skinner. Still, Skinner made all the saves that he needed.
The kings winning three games in a row? After two close games and being dominated twice…. Hmmm they could make it 3-3 but I still think Oilers move on.
If you know these teams.. LA brought EVERYTHING they could this game and Skinner and pretty stellar defence shot it down… This was an ugly win by the Oilers which is EXACTLY what they need
I don't think the Kings outplayed the Oilers at all in this game. sure they got back to playing "Their" game but the Oilers just proved they've already solved the Kings. low scoring games don't scare us anymore and the Defense is something to be proud of in this squad.

This game was far more the team defence then it was skinner. By a long shot.
They gave up 33 shots, but there were no breakaways or odd-man rushes for him to stop. The one rebound that would have been an easy tap in Ceci cleared befor ethe King could reach it.
