  1. Ok Petey we can give you a pass in this series, but you've got to pick it up in the next series because the lack of offence in this series is just not gonna cut it against a team like the Oilers so….Lets Go Canucks!

  2. As great as the PK was in this series, the Oilers are not the Predators. If they take some of the bad penalties they took in this series against Edmonton, they're in trouble. Nashville had some weapons, but they didn't have 2 of the best offensive players in the game AND a 54 goal scorer. Expect Edmonton to try to play a more wide open style and try to run the Canucks out of Rogers Arena, because it's their best chance to win. For Vancouver to win, they just have to play very tight defensive hockey and be patient. If they start trying to trade chances or push offensively too much, they could get burned and as well as Silovs has played, he could be exposed. And as mentioned, they have to stay out of the box. Edmonton's PP is terrific.

  3. I'm a bit annoyed with this narrative of "now we can go to Edmonton and play some real playoff hockey." Nashville was the 2nd or 3rd best hockey team in the league since Christmas. Their style isn't pretty but they are a very effective and good hockey team who showed great resilience in games 5 and 6 after the way they lost game 4. I'm hearing a lot of people saying they barely beat Nashville what happens when they play a real hockey team? Struggling against Nashville doesn't equate to getting steamrolled by Edmonton. Both the Canucks and Nashville deserve more credit for the way they played in that series despite not scoring a million goals like Edmonton.

  4. Opening odds for this series are -2.60 for the Oilers making them massive favourites. I understand them being favoured especially with Demko out but almost 3-1? People look at that sexy Edmonton offense and forget about their defense and depth issues and their questionable goaltending. Vancouver is confident and has shown they can play well against the Oilers I really think they have an excellent shot here. They also thrive as underdogs. Hopefully Oilers listen to the buzz and underestimate them.

  5. Great show but it has evolved into non stop product reads and commercial breaks. I guess that's revenue generating, but t seems on par with radio and TV now.

  6. I'd give the edge of best Canucks player of the series to JT Miller. Brock's hat trick made possible with JT's assists. JT Miller led the Canucks on and off the ice.
