  1. “Patterson disappeared in the 3rd period”.

<looks at the play where Sissons hits the post with the empty net>

Tell me…who is doing the backcheck there which forced Sissons to not only shoot on the backhand but do it extended out.

Disappeared, my ass. If Petey isn’t doing that backcheck, that comeback ends right then and there and the series is tied 2-2.

  2. Frank just playing with you guys. Sit Hugh’s? Go with šilovs? Peterson came roaring back? lol.

  3. Unless Hughes is 100% injured you 100% do not sit in game 5!! That is a huge game because if Canucks win they save themselves travel time AND get a little break until next series. You don't want to give Preds momentum by winning game 5. Then they go home and if they win game 6 they have confidence anything can happen game 7…

  4. We have to take out one or more of (PDG, Lafferty, Hoglander etc etc). We need size to stick up for liberties taken out on teammates. Add Juulsen as a winger and bring in Podz. Players willing to lay out a hit in return

  5. Seravalli is talking out his ass. Start silovs, sit Hughes? How about win the series and get some rest days instead of having to go back to Nashville and having to play Hughes and desmith anyways?

  6. Quinn needs to take a page from Marchand’s playbook … as a smaller guy, getting under these hits and have some of these bigger forecheckers kissing glass… especially on a double team will create odd man breakouts

Obviously they play different positions but I think he could glean alot from how Marchand uses his size

  7. De Smith played well in game 3, but there were couple of situations where the puck sneaked by him. If those go in, we would say he had a terrible game. Silovs was MVP of the world championships in hockey last year while playing for Latvia. Silovs was so much calmer, better handling puck than DeSmith. For me the choice is obvious, go with Artur Silovs!!!

  8. I don't want to hear about Pettersson. He's barely taken a hit this series because he jumps out of the way every time. He's soft as charmin right now.

  9. Every time I hear Frank Seravalli talk, I think I get dumber. How this man gets paid to talk about hockey is beyond me.
