  1. As far as I saw. He really wants to resign with Detroit. But. There is uncertainty that yzerman will resign. So I bet he is looking for options.

  2. I rather see the Habs to go get Stamkos or Marchessault than Perron I got nothing against Perron but it will be better for the development of Dach and with our 1st round pick player to play with Stamkos or Marchessault

  3. Yeah. He made it pretty clear, to the point of killing his chances of negotiating for more money, when he said he only sees himself playing for Detroit and his kids were happy. This may have been more a fan service statement for his home community.

  4. I don't no about that i was watching La porche bleu that poscast show whit Max Lapierre and Guillaume and Perron his say his familly love Detroit and yes he love Montreal too well see.I'm fan montreal too not matter too me if go or stay.

  5. nope, sorry….we don't need short term plugs. do not waste money on this deal. we need at least one if not two elite scorers on this team that are below 30 years old.

  6. Perron has slowed down some over the past couple of years, but he still is a very good player. He's good along the boards, passes well, and brings a little grit to the team. I hope he resigns with the Wings.

  7. Let's say his agent and him ask between 3-4 millions for 2 years. Now you gotta figure where he fits in the line up. I see Perron on same level as Gallhager. So if we put both over a 3rd line it would mean we have near 10 millions of salary cap for 2/3 of a 3rd lines. No hate, but roster management wise it doesn't seem very logical to me. One thing he got going for him is the French Canadian part and oh boi we love that marketing wise here. My 2 cents, I don't claim to have an absolute expert view and willing to listen to arguments.

  8. Do not see a top 6 role for him in Detroit. Bergeron is no longer waiver exempt so he is in Detroit. Plus mazur will be pushing for a spot. I would rather have fisher back as a third fourth line guy.

  9. My guess is his agent had preliminary talks with Detroit and they didn't like the numbers. As a Wings fan, I'm ok if we move in from him if the money's too high.

  10. Perron is turning 36 this month – would be very surprised if Habs offered him a contract

  11. Let him go. He did not perform during the 8 game loosi g streak when Larkin was out. Bye bye too much money

  12. Perfect veteran to help out the young kids that can still give you 35-50 points a season ive always been a fan of david’s since i saw him play with the lewiston maniacs
