  1. PLD cap hit is close to Larkin's and Larkin is a point per game player. That should tell you how terrible PLD is.

  2. Pld has forgotten how to put the puck in the net and most of the few goals he did get were open nets he is a brutal hockey player and doesn't bring anything to the kings sorry blake but your fired

  3. Unfortunately there is a 0% chance of the Kings making the playoffs in the next 8 years because Pierre Luc Dubois is complete garbage and Rob Blake is the dumbest GM in sports history

  4. We will take him in Montreal, L.A. retain 80% of his salary and give away your first pick of 2026, in exchange for future considerations… or a guy like Anderson, no salary retained.
    I'm game.

  5. Solid points on everything but that was not a hold against Draisaitl wtf lol
A majority of the audience and even the announcers broke it down.

  6. Whoever was behind that trade will get the axe. It was the worst trade in franchise history without a doubt. It deflated everyone and everything. He knows it, we know it and someone needs to be held responsible. It sucks but that’s hockey.

  7. I just unsubbed I’ve been subbed for a while and I can’t watch your stuff anymore. With all due respect humanly possible do you have your own opinions? All you do is reverberate what other people say. Think for yourself plz.

  8. PLD isn't good, but the holding call was bull. That is a play you want your backcheckers making all day everyday, he actually hustled down, got position, and gave a shoulder. In no way, on any replay, on any interpretation, was a hold.

  9. As a Kings fan, I'm obviously NOT pleased with PLD, but I equally blame management and coaching. How long can you blame a 💩for smelling like poo? At some point you have to blame the person who dropped the deuce on the rug in the first place, and that's where I blame KINGS management and coaching.

    PLD is PLD. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
He was sold to us like he was supposed to be the heir apparent to Anze Kopitar in his prime, but clearly those two players are not built from the same material. It's hard to imagine a world where even a relatively-productive PLD is worth as much or more than an Adrienne Kempe or a dozen other guys on the team, but he's not completely useless. There have been flashes of a good player and he usually appears in those rare instances where he's put on one of the top two lines with talented players. You can't put him on the fourth line with fringe NHL fourth-line guys and get mad he's only producing like a fourth line player. I've seem him set up his 3rd fourth line teammates numerous times with a slick pass only to watch Laferierre or whoever whiff or skate past it. I think he has a ceiling that is well below the $8.5M range he's being paid, but he could certainly be an adequate 2nd line center if given the opportunity and used correctly.

I just think the Kings coaches and management have bungled this entire season and roster and punching down on PLD seems like an easy scapegoat when he's not the biggest problem. He's just one of the Frankensteins they created.

I'd love to lose PLD if we can, but its not the end of the world if we can't if he just use him more effectively.

  10. But do his teammates like him? Evander Kane is producing more, but his team hates him. I don't know if you can win with either.

  11. Just because you have added Dubois, you still need the chemistry to work with him. If you are going to sit there and tell me Laperriere and Grundstrom is who you pair a top center with? Who did he play with in 'Peg? In Columbus? You can't put a Lamborgini motor in a Chevelle. Sorry- it still is Blake's fault because the chemistry just was not there

  12. Jets and Kings Fans should seriously consider some collective Post Playoff Trauma counselling. I'm In.

  13. Blake got robbed! Winnipeg became a playoff team with just that one trade. Huge additions to that team

  14. He's done nothing but fail every team he's been on and nobody has seemed to notice the pattern

  15. Perhaps, Dubois is working towards a trade to Montreal where he originally wanted to go but Winnipeg sent him to LA instead.
