Holding himself accountable at the start is grade A leadership.
Folks need to realize that this is an entertainment product. The forces involved in preventing one team from being dominant are strong ones. The Salary Cap + the Flat Cap during COVID did their part to dismantle this team and weaken it while making other teams stronger.
We had to deal with Flat Cap + Expansion Draft. We lost an entire 3rd line and an absolute rock in McDonagh. Challenge any team to pull off what the Bolts have done.
Don’t apologize man. For one, you’re right. For two, nobody here doubts your exceptional character. Glad to have you Coop!
The way Coop started the press conference is a credit to him, the Bolts and Tampa! Love having you as our coach!

Coop is human. But unlike a lot of people, taking accountability for a very rare statement for him, considering he has so much respect for everyone and class. Starting out the way he did is respectful and the class act Coop is. Couldn’t ask for a better coach!! We love Coop!!! 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼💙⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Panthers fan here. Coop is awesome. Not even wrong with his original take. The first interference was the right call but the second should have been a goal on the ice and the review definitely should have overturned. But just in general a class act and amazing coach.
