Connie will hope he can play better at the start of next season while on a contract year like most guys seem to do, then he'll be a rental with an ok return with some retention.
They won't be dumping him at 50% retained to get a few peanuts during the off season.
If he doesn't play well and they can't get anything for him at thr deadline, then it's good luck on the open market and maybe a team takes a flier on him and he can start putting the puck in the net again on a 1 year prove it deal elsewhere.
Yeah just leave him where he is. We don't need to trade a first rounder to get rid of him just like we did with Monahan and he would have been our second best center this year if he was still here
Calgary always trades away players when they have had bad years, only to watch them thrive immediately after trading them. Do NOT trade Andrew Mangiapane.

Exactly
Id trade him. He is a bust. Let other people get ice time.

Trade him before the draft

Keep mang
Mang should be issuing a refund.
Couldn't you potentially open up a spot in the top 9 by playing him on the 4th…
Maybe he was hurt all year because he only played at %70 his normal pace which essentially puts him out of a contending team in the NHL.
Bro really said when
Take what you can get for this guy. 1 good year when he had zero expectation and pressure.
He is and has Always been a bottom 6 player. Horrible signing by the franchise wrecker Brad Treliving. Get rid of his cap hit any way possible.
It's commonly called a hockey trade. Just trade him for an equally overpaid player at a position of need. (Center or D)
