  1. What’s there to say, Pionk is not a top 4 or a top 6 defence man, why else did the Rangers let him go in the Trouba deal. Pionk is too small to be of any use in his own end, any knowledgeable hockey fan saw this for the past two years.

  2. Paul Friesen is so nasty. The question he asked bones was really pathetic after they suffered hard loss, he’s so negative and everything in his articles

  3. Pretty disappointing to see some fans filing out with 3 minutes left in the 3rd only down 2 goals. Guess the Jets annual playoff bandwagoners forgot about game 3 last year.

  4. The Jets were a good team but not a great team this season. They were no match for the Avs in this series. Their best guns fired in all games, Connor, Scheifele and Ehlers were more or less invisible. But so be it, at least in game 5 they tried to push back. For next season, the playoff window is still open, so I keep looking forward to October. Jets fans should not be disappointed at all. After the series loss against Vegas last year, nobody expected the Jets to make the playoffs again. Helly and 55 were more or less gone. With this in mind, the season was pretty good after all.

  5. Last year the Jets also lost in 5 game to the team who eventually won the Stanley Cup. Wrong place, wrong time.

  6. Last year Bones sounded like he wasn’t coming back and he did. This year sounded like he is coming back so…..

  7. Thanks, Hustler. You made this utterly sobering day a little easier.

The worst part of all of this is that after watching hockey for 56 years, I realize that I know nothing of hockey, because though, I wasn’t sure the Jets would win, I would have bet my house that the Jets would have not given up 5+ goals 5 games in a row.

    Beyond a head scratcher.

BTW, how did they score 7 in game one?

And what about Capobianco for next year? Is he ready?

  8. I think the most damming thing about this current jets lineup is when bones was talking about how the intensity level goes way up in the playoffs and his team never matched that intensity or battle level. How in the world is that possible? The jets are a veteran laden team with a so called solid leadership core. We are not talking about a team full of raw rookies. Players have been here for years and don’t realize this? It’s almost like they took their regular season success for granted and by the time they realized they were in a playoff battle it was 3-1 for the Avs. Not saying they would have beat them but fans of this team who spend thousands per yer to watch them want the team to compete and back up their boasts of how different they were this year. We got duped again. Change is needed that’s a definite!!

  9. This show is the most balanced, easy to digest WPG Jets related podcast out there.

    Thanks for a great season!

  10. Hindsight is always 20/20. Honestly, did any of us even predict that the Jets would even be in the playoffs, at the end of last season? The team was a tire fire, rumors of big names traded, rebuilds, etc. This ended another rinse and repeat season, but one day we'll get it right.

  11. Playoff collapse is part of Jets DNA. Avs totally exposed Jets weak D-core. They are frauds until proven otherwise
