  1. I’m honestly asking this and I’m not trying to be a troll on on your YouTube account but seriously how is this the coaches fault???!!! I get that the lines need to be changed somewhat. But the players didn’t wake up until they found out they officially were gonna be eliminated and their season was on the line. And not only that but they kept on turning the puck over in game two 3 and four. And they couldn’t handle the puck and yet you are blaming the coach for something that he cannot change the players from what I saw were the problem again they stopped playing hockey. It was like watching retarded people playing, and I am allowed to say that cause I’m intellectually disabled. But still how can you go from having 52 wins and playing absolutely great for pretty much the whole season from forgetting what brought you success into the playoffs that is not the coach that is the players. They totally gave up after game one and they looked dead on the ice for most of the series!!! if you cannot handle a loss in the playoffs, you are never gonna succeed. This isn’t the lines. This isn’t the coach. This is the players. They totally looked dead after they lost game two and completely gave up

  2. All season every time the jets played a team that could defend the slot they couldn't do any to get in

  3. Jets need to be more top heavy
Maybe trade a connor/ehlers type for a player like KentJohnson/Provorov.
We need a #1b center not a Monahan/Perfetti play behind Scheifele I don't even like Guentzel/Lindholm as fits. More like Kadri,Horvat,Barzal,Reinhart types. And not just slow shutdown d but players who can play with Morrisey.

Provorov,Sanheim,Schneider, idk maybe a young guy who needs change. And start pushing lower value contracts/rookies into lineup.

  4. Get rid of all the coaches and start fresh. Trade some players if they have to. The Avs offence went circles around the Jets players. No defence in the last 4 games from all the players!!

  5. I hate to say it but I wouldn't shed a tear if Ehlers left, Lauer and Bowness especially need to go.

  6. Another awesome year of JETS hockey…. I live and die drafting/development, Chevy took advantage of hell freezing delivering Monahan/vlardi/tofolli 😮

  7. This is the worst GAA in a playoff series in NHL history, lets just try and grasp that. Our backup should have started that game period.

  8. I said it after 2022 and again last year. The blueline is not good enough. It's a steep dropoff in quality after Morrissey. They can't manage the puck, they are too slow, and they don't provide enough offense to make up for the poor defense. It doesn't matter that they had a 3 goals or less streak or that some guys are great for the room. The defense is average. And this is exactly why Stanley should not have been protected over Declan Chisholm. The d-corp needs guys that can skate and move the puck. Chisholm had that.

  9. The Avs have drafted McKinnon, Makar, Rantanen. The jets have drafted Scheifele, Kyle Connor, Morrissey. The Jets have never had a superstar Hawerchuk and Selanne are the closest they've ever gotten. The Nordiques drafted Sakic and Lindros (that they turned into Forsberg).

  10. ….(imma prolly cry) the overwhelming, unfamiliar ride of emotions as Pundits spoke of the Stanley Cup, the Wpg Jets with real conviction…. my eyes welled up, chest flexing, exhuming force, the true north!!! the new lexicon and dialog of Winnipeg pending Champions!!!

  11. Besides game 1 and 5 the jets scored 5 goals in 3 games. How are we supposed to win. Sure Helle could have played a bit better but the bad bounce off Pionk, all the penalties, there was always a guy in front of Helle and the D were no where to be found to get them out of there, and that led to deflections and most of there goals this series. So yeah Helle could have played better but what do u want him to do when this happened all series.

  12. Well another typical Jets choke when it matters season.anyone who thought this was a championship team should seek medical advice. Players don't come to Winnipeg for the chance at a championship. These are guys that can't elevate themselves to compete in the playoffs and can't get a contract elsewhere.. any team or player that cries the coach was unfair to criticize them and fracture our egos and hurt our million dollar feelings are not championship ship caliber nor is a coach that will humiliate himself by allowing everyone to pressure him to apologize. It's no wonder that a team that played in the second smallest venue had less than a dozen sell out games with all of them coming after the all-star break and a majority of those after the owners cried about it. That tells you even the fans know the team is a joke. Face it the last time Winnipeg ices a championship team was the last year of the W.H.A.

  13. Well the Jets were grounded once again, but I’m not surprised. Disappointed, yes because this team should have at least made a decent series out of it, not losing in 5 games. Not sure who to cheer for at this point, definitely not the Oilers and I can’t see the Canucks beating Colorado so that’s it for Canadian teams because the Leafs will likely lose the next game. Just being realistic folks.

  14. We need an actual Superstar and someone that can be physical like Buff. Ever since he left the only physical guys we have are Lowry and Stanley. Stanley takes way too many penalties, Lowry is honestly our MVP but we need a physical D man as well as a goal scorer. The Avalanche had 3 90+ point players (2 with 100+) and our leader in points? Mark Scheifele 72 points.

  15. Everyone blaming the coach but the coach cant really put heart into their players. As an Avs fan, the Jets players looked disheartened and sad because they aren’t able to bail out their Vezina trophy nominee. Granted, Avs have an entire season of bailing out our goalie. Jets just need some cohones…not coaching.

  16. One thing you forgot to mention is that you ran into an Avalanche team that is so good offensively they can basically outscore most of their mistakes they make in a game. All 4 lines produced on the scoreboard in this series. Remember, the jets were good enough in game one to have the Avs hang 6+ goals on the best goalie in the league and still lost the game. The Avs are so solid on both offense and defense this season that it will be a shock if they don't win the cup. The only soft spot in the lineup is in the goal but if you can put up more than the opponent scores it is less trouble for you. Georgiev came up big when he needed to to keep the Avs in the game. The Avs averaged 4+ goals a game all year. That is tough to stop. The Jets have a solid core and should be good for seasons to come. I am not sure what will happen with the front office but it was a fun series at least from an Avs fan perspective. There was very minimal cheap garbage on the ice. Both teams played damn hard and played great hockey.

  17. Jets looked really good at times, but they don't have the finishers that Avs have. And they don't have a Cale Makar who can make perfect shots from the blue line that somehow get tipped in.

  18. It was great seeing the Jets click this season when they had their forecheck going, defence and Hellebyuk shutting things down. I agree that coaching has to be able to adjust when a game plan isn’t working. Also, watching the Jets repeatedly dump the puck in was getting too predictable. Still they finished 4th in the regular season and were top of the league for a while. Hopefully next season will build on this year’s successes. 🙂🏒✈️

  19. Huge Avs fan, and always a secret Winnipeg fan. Grew up in MN, and used head up to play in Winnipeg as a kid. Sux for the Jets, and their fans, but the Jets are (will be) a strong team. The Avs were firing on 3 cylinders the five weeks leading up to the playoffs. As of game 1 (or better yet, 2), the Avs immediately fired on all cylinders, and if that happens, they can beat just about anyone. Better luck next year. Someone send a top scout into northern MN and see if you can get Big Byf out of retirement!

  20. I place this situation fully on Cheveldayoff. Not only were there coaching failures, but his trades didn’t address what the Jets needed most. Big, tough, angry, mobile defensemen.

  21. Bowness might be the most stubborn, incompetent, out of his depth head coach in NHL history. In 87 games, he didn't learn a single thing. The special teams were bad from the first game of the year. No correction or even attempt to fix them. The line combo's were strong for very brief periods of the year. When they weren't working, no correction or attempt to try anything new. I mean for goodness sakes, how many games does it take figure out Stanley sucks? Pionk sucks? Connor is a bad linemate with Scheifele? These things were evident all year! Perfetti has a rough stretch and is pulled out of the lineup. Okay. But for 20 games?? Then he comes back and plays damn well and then goes back to the press box anyway???? Game 5 we finally use new lines and actually generate offence! Oops, right back to the original lines, completely destroying all momentum. Colin Miller should have been in the lineup all series too! He seriously thought playing Samberg and Stanley (with Samberg on his off hand??) was better than putting Miller in? Beyond brain dead. Without exaggeration the fanbase could have iced a better lineup.

Yes the defence played their 5 worst games of the year, and yeah Helle wasn't great either. But Bowness sold this team HARD!! This could be the best Jets team we see for a long time to come, and we'll never know what the endgame could have been because we let a fucking dinosaur sabotage what was such a promising year.

  22. I really want our team to do whatever we possibly can to get the 1st overall pick in 2025. Whether we tank next season or trade the farm (except Vilardi & Rutger) to get Michael Misa in next year's draft, it's totally worth it. Michael Misa is the centerpiece to build a franchise around and I want him on our team. He'll sell tickets & win us championships if we get him. I'd trade Kyle Connor, Nikolai Ehlers, a prospect & a future 1st) for whatever team gets the first overall pick. Anything to get Misa on our team.

  23. i dont see where we can go from here, this is the best jets team in jets 2.0 history and they couldnt do anything. It probably over at this point after a decade of competing.

  24. I pray Wade Flaherty stays. Personally I want us to clean house both in front office & coaching except Flaherty. I want Joe McDonnell as GM & Stan Tugolukov as the head coach (both from the Dallas Stars). The Dallas Stars are the most well rounded, sneakily great team & those 2 guys are the right people to build a dynasty with our young guys & Michael Misa if we somehow, someway get him.

  25. Colorado has the best offense in the nhl. The jets offensive players don’t come close. And that’s without Druin going off on Macs line l. Good video though

  26. Same shit..different pile….how the hell did anyone think the Jets could beat an offensive juggernaut like the Avs , with a shit PK , and an even shittier PP ? ..

  27. WTF we are????,where is the fucking DEFENSE??????,year post year and we STILL CHOKING!?!?,WHY WE ARE HERE???
In 2018,conference finals:lossed to Las Vegas, thanks to the fucking FLEURY!?!?
    In 2019,early exit vs BLUES.
    In 2021,2ND ROUND,SWEEP BY MONTREAL!
And NOW,AGAIN,we LOSS another OPPORTUNITY TO WIN THE FUCKIN'CUP,to COLORADO!?!!
    WE SUCK!
