  1. it was 2 disallowed goals this game, with countless missed penalties not just this game but the entire series and they had two empty net goals. Tampa gave up after it was 3-1 because it should have been 3-3 and the refs were not going to let them win this series

  2. Stamkos is not a fit in Montreal right now . With his age and the way the team is going right now . They're building around young talent.

  3. Stamkos to the Leafs 7 years 42 million front loaded with signing bonuses! He plays 5 of them, and we win 3 cups after we move Marner and extend Tavares to the same team friendly top heavy retirement deal. Can not wait to see Tammer in his Marlie Blue! 🐐

  4. At this point, the Habs are basically done rebuilding, so making a move at the top free agent (Stamkos) would be ideal if they see themselves as a playoff team in 2024-25.

  5. I would love Montreal, I think it would be great for Montreal as he is a veteran and would be good to develop the culture in Montreal and work with the young guys. Imagine Macklin Celebrini Demidov or Lindstrom learning from a guy like Stamkos for a couple of seasons

  6. Not sure if he will ever leave Tampa, but as someone who was both raised in Florida and Michigan I'd love to see him on the wings

  7. Don't forget that when they signed Point to his contract, they asked Stammer if he would waive his no trade. He's done with them.

  8. Could see him going to Chicago. Could give him a high paying deal close to home and a chance to mentor Bedard and if lucky celebrini. The turnaround in Chicago could be really quick.

  9. He could be a good 2-3 year stop-gap for the Wings as our younger centers (Kasper/Danielson) grow up.

  10. 2 goals taken off it would’ve been a lot closer if they weren’t called off AND why does Anthony cirelli always get goals taken off on the first vs Detroit he should’ve had a hat trick 2 goals taken off vs Detroit

  11. Yes it is …but I feel not so many are upset about it mostly including players and coaches of Tampa …they had enough of it for some time

  12. If JBB wanted to let him go, he better be rethinking it now after seeing what Stammer did in the playoffs. He was unreal. You can potentially use stammers cap space to plug some holes in the defence or depth forwards, but now you have a gaping large hole in the top 6 and the powerplay. Imo they would be crazy to get rid of him now. They should be trying to get him to take a discount on the AAV, and extend him till he’s 40. Let’s say 5.5m x 5 – 6 years. By the time he’s at 39-40 years old, the team will suck anyways and the cap will have gone up. He won’t get that money at that age on another team

  13. I think Stamkos could be an awesome guy to teach to the younger player and he produce at a good pace. However, I'm not sure I would like to have fill a spot that could go to a younger prospect and develop with the team. We still have veterans that can teach young guys, this would be my preference but as I said, objectively, it is not a bad move depending on the cost.

  14. All the old Lightning (St-Louis, Lecavalier, etc.) staff are now in the MTL organisation and the Habs are looking for a good veteran forward. MTL have a bunch of good young defensemen which could help Tampa insure a future for the team. I would see a compensation trade maybe sending Reinbacher and Barron to Tampa in the process.. I would understand if Tampa want to sign him back as well, but considering Stamkos present value, I would make that trade now

  15. Imagine if Steve pulls this off.
Resigns Kane, bridge extension for raymond and seider, signs stammer, gets rid of fabbri, holl and copp
