That he's going to need development doesn't bother me that much. If the Cowboys can't trade Prescott, their Super Bowl window opens in 2027. If they can trade Prescott, maybe the window opens in 2026. Either way, a developmental tackle who develops well will be ready to play Super Bowl quality football by the time that the Cowboys are ready to make a Super Bowl run.
If the Cowboys extend Prescott at a salary that he wants, their Super Bowl window doesn't open until 2030.
If Prescott were willing to take a salary that would put him out of the top ten highest paid quarterbacks under any way of looking at the numbers, then maybe their Super Bowl window could open in 2025, but I don't think Prescott will do that.

I trust them more with the current staff for this position then most . I am looking at the immediate future, 1-2years he will be a quality LT.. We arent going to go to the SB with Dak, so Guyton has time to develop. This is just my observation, as a fan since 1970.. Whoever was picked, there would be complaints
