I’m sorry but if that D core and goalie tandem belonged to any other team and you showed it to a Leafs fan they would tell you that’s not even close to good enough to win a cup without even blinking. Why Leafs fans think adding Lyubushkin and Edmundson— two basically irrelevant players— somehow made it good enough is beyond me. The personnel isn’t there for a cup, I don’t care how many 80-100 point guys they have. In no world is that roster enough.
Boston toyed with the Leafs. Boston has decades of good habits which payoff in the playoffs. Basically Boston plays the game the right way all the time. 60 years a leaf and have come to conclude Toronto needs to begin importing Boston's ethos.
