Matthews got in a fight with Keefe, you can see them in the background arguing on the bench. This was immediately following the 3-0 goal when the Leafs were getting booed. Then they announced he's missing the 3rd period with "food poisoning" and will miss the 3rd period but my gut is that there is something more there

i think this is Keefe's last year as Leafs coach. We need a new system. With the talent on our team, we should be able to be better than this.

There was no effort as much as Keefe and the players want us to believe. We are not stupid with what we just watched. Watch the Tampa series, watch every shift of Nate in Colorado, how do they break these tight games?. These players don’t care or are not good enough to get it done. The coaching sucks why be reactive just start Woll and change it up game 4. Trade everyone and start from scratch. I would rather be excited about that than watch these guys play. They are not good enough especially in the playoffs. No matter what or who you put around the core. They are not good enough.

I know how bad it looks but Boston had a 3-1 series lead last year and we all know how that ended in the end. I understand the frustration but The leafs will do what they did last year. GLG

Domi, bertuzzi, and nylander and knies were the only ones competing. Been a keafs fan for 24 years and that was literally the worst effort ive ever seen. Wow.

I would be so upset to be a Leafs fan right now, not that the Leafs lost tonight, and are one loss away from being eliminated in the first round, again, for the last 5 of 6 appearances, but because of how little passion, urgency, and just straight up responsibility these players, and the coach, is showing during these interviews. No frustration? We all saw it, but apparently there was none. You didn't come out flat, despite getting only two shots in the first 10 minutes of play? You got to stick with it? Stick with what, the same no emotion, no urgency play that we have seen for 3 of the 4 games? Show some #$%@ng emotion.

Tavares is so overrated. They have no system, it’s like everyone just skates around and hopes for the best. It’s hard for the forwards to do anything when the defence can’t get them the puck. Leafs are done.

🟣Shoot the puck in, then chase after it, and even though you have momentum on the opponent, you back off because you don't want to be the first one touching the puck because you'll get hit. Cowardly play has no place when you're down 3-0 (yeah, I'm looking at you JT)… just not good enough. If you're going to shoot it in, go after the damn thing ffs.
🟣Sammy wasn't good enough… letting in 1 or 2 bad goals a game is not good enough in the playoffs (as you can see, Boston doesn't have that issue).
🟣 Dumb-a$$ penalties at the worst possible moment. Yeah, the refs missed some calls, but we deserved the calls we did take and they were just completely immature (especially Domi and Nylander).
🟣 Overcomplicating the PP instead of getting 2 guys to the net and just shooting the puck (from the D or w/e) to bang in some rebounds. They need to simplify the PP ffs!!!
🟣 PK is just not aggressive enough. Period!
I could go on, but screw it! We've all seen the same story over and over again.
And the funny thing is, it doesn't matter what players they bring in, it's the same result because no one is willing to play the system to a T. You can't score on Boston because they play the system to a T… they don't need 4x$10+ million dollar players because all they have to do is keep it simple and play their system and make the fewest mistakes. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that they don't mind going in after the puck first and taking a hit to forecheck.
I honestly don't blame keef for any of this. How in the world do you arrange these clowns to succeed?

I know I'm not welcomed here as a bruins fan, but I just have to say it's quite hysterical how much this team says "We gotta do this better and we gotta do that better" after every L. If they know the things that they have to do better already then why aren't they taking action on those solutions?
