  1. When talking about Verhaeghe being the most clutch player in overtime… Tkachuk has 3 ot playoff goals in 7 games played which is insane as well, if there is a team you dont want to see in OT it is the Panthers

  2. samsonov has not earned the net, he rode the wave of the offense in 2024 reg season, team played well not him, he just played okay the whole year. woll is the goalie for the future, take him now.

  3. Steve Dangle talks like Samsonov is the reason they’re losing. Then when another goalies terrible play is brought up he immediately chocks it up to them maybe having an injury. Give him some credit on the big saves or you just look like an a$$hole.

  4. Steve yells about how he doesnt blame the refs. But his first emotional take is usually "The REFS"… Yes he did acknowledge the leafs 0-5 pp. But he doesnt acknowledge that the leafs had the chance to go up with early pps and missrd calls on the bruins. The refs suck… Period.

  5. Hard to cheer when you just spent your paycheck to watch your favourite team get there teeth kicked in again.

  6. What are you guys talking about Sammy hasnt given you a chance to win. 3 goals on 30 shots in game 3 should give a team with the most expensive offense in the league by far a chance to win. 4 goals isnt an impossible task.

  7. Adam is crazy…I live in NYC, the Mets are NOT more popular than the Rangers. Also not that many people care about the Nets. I would go Yankees, Jets, Knicks, Rangers

  8. Loving all the mutual acknowledgment of refs being brutal, but came up short with calling out the B's flops that definitely happened, but ignoring the Bertuzzi middle of ice trip being an enormous flop, tapped his skate and he dove it. Gamesmanship, but your blue is showing fellas

  9. By my quick calculations, in the last 10 regular season games played, Woll is an .890 and Sammy is .888. Why is Sammy guaranteed the net?

  10. I have been saying (mostly to myself) for a long time the Leafs need a better captain that embodies what they want the team to be, or at least what fans want them to be. Tavares is a good player, but he's not the personality you want leading a physical professional sports team. Look around the league at some of the "good examples" of captains and the example they set for the team on and off ice: Marchand, Crosby, Ovechkin, Suzuki even… I don't know if the leafs actually have a player that possess both the skill and grit to make a great captain. Of the players available on the roster to choose from now it's between Matthews and Riley IMO. It's hard to say either of them is a "great" pick. I guess I am intrigued to see what type of leadership Matthews could bring? Right now I don't know if he's just following suit with what's been shown, but it doesn't look like he's got "it" either… At least Riley has shown some aggression…that led to a suspension….

  11. participation of the fan is a problem made by the fan , in mtl the tikets are also expensive and the bottom bowl il full of corperate but the upper bowl is full of the die hard and the make a ambiance that the bottom bowl cannot but participate .

  12. Its true. I got to go to my first leaf game after watching them for 30 year in the gold seats because I bid on a charity thing. Otherwise my kids wouldn't be going to college. Also since that night I think the Rangers will beat the Leafs in 7 and go on to defeat the Dallas Stars. screencap it.

  13. Adam is wrong about 99% of the things in life but here he is bang on. Jess is delusional if he think Rangers fandom trumps Mets fans. Mets are fanatical. (also go Rangers)

  14. If Samsonov was a legit money goalie, the Leafs are probably up 3-0 right now. Period.
When Steve talks about asset management, he always glosses over the goalie issue. What's the difference between how the Leafs and are constructed and how the Avalanche are constructed? Now, Colorado, this year, may or may not have a good enough goalie, but in the past, they have. That makes ALL the difference (presuming that a bunch of the goalies aren't being told by the league to throw some of the games).

  15. Just a few things on Sammy. Frederic goal was a shooters shot. If there is any weakness in the goaltender position, it is the shot just below the blocker and just above the pad.
Domi and Kampf both blew their coverages on the two other goals. If Kampf looks for Debrusk and ties him up. Less likely to get the rebound. Domi could have lifted Brad’s stick or bodied him. But he was puck watching and was too late by the time he realized. I think it’s an awareness problem on the players. Two almost nothing plays that turned into goals. Can not blame the guy who was making great saves for 90% of the night

  16. Haha you clowns talking about diving. Have you seen your own team? Have fun losing a series again 😂 😂

  17. as a stars fan, besides some of our guys seemingly disappearing, vegas looks unbeatable in every way. They know Deboers system (their old coach – and assistant too I believe in Spott), and Deboer is much like that dwayne casey analogy where the system HAS to figure itself out

  18. Gonna have to disagree w/Jesse in regards to the atmosphere at Lakers games. As a Lakers fan, Crypto gets LOUD AF during games, especially come the playoffs (More than the Leafs fans at SBA). Maybe not as electric as MSG for the Knicks but we get very loud and passionate at games (especially when we have tacos from Jack in the Box on the line LOL). Just look at clips from the Kobe and Shaq days or even the Kobe and Pau days. There was a period of time during the mid-2010s that the atmosphere died a bit, but that was because of the team being HORRIFIC to watch (esp. in-person). Since we got LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and became a contender again, the atmosphere at the Crypt been great again!

You want a team that fits the Leafs/SBA playoff atmosphere comparison better? The Golden State Warriors. Ever since they moved from Oakland to San Francisco, their playoff atmosphere at the Chase Center is night and day from when they played at the Oracle Arena. There's a reason why it got the nickname the "Roaracle Arena". Now that they play across in SF, their atmosphere reminds me so much of Scotiabank Arena for Leafs playoff games.
