Oilers are good, BUT, are they good enough? goaltending and defence is what wins playoff games not thinking about what went wrong in the last lost, imo they need to call up Campbell to get some motivation happening.
I like Skinner, some goals were fluky, but there are a few he should've had. Kings have done a good job with their diamond and keeping the Oilers on the outside in game 2. Oilers have to play a system that doesn't give up odd man rushes where the Kings can get shots right from the slot. I think the Oilers are overall a better team, but I worry about Skinner being up to the task.
So in game 2 what good bounces are you talking about? The hand eye tip from Kempe? (if it was McJesus we would be sending praise).. the just BAD goal given up to Fiala?! Or maybe the embarrassing goal to Doughty (goaltender looked brutal).. the perfect shot in OT from a future HOF. Lol give me a break. LA Kings beat the Oilers in game 2. Period.
Same problems as always Pressure pressure and scoring chances galore that don't get cashed in which inevitably leads to rush chances the other way that somehow very often turn into goals against. The only solution is to finish and bury more of those opportunities that come from offensive zone pressure
