The whole Zegras trade rumors really need to be put to bed it just is ridiculous at this point as despite Verbeek saying Zegras was never going anywhere people are still talking about it…crazy!

If it doesn’t, Cronin needs to be canned. I honestly am I kinda out on him as is, but if we don’t improve next season he absolutely needs to go.
Yes the record has to improve. This is absolutely not a playoff team, but you’d think they can become mediocre at least.
I don’t think they will. It’s pretty obvious things aren’t working and all of the ducks kids won’t always be part of the team – seems pretty clear the ducks are all in on McTavish and Carlsson. Which leaves zegras as the of man out in terms of playing natural position. Until/unless the ducks find success with this group there will be rumours and talk. He’s an obvious talking point – after all no one cares about hacks. Personally I think the clock is ticking 🤷🏾 if they struggle prior to the deadline next year one of the big names is gone imo.
No. Just keep showing progress. Doesn’t necessarily need to be that much better. Players are still young and there will be growing pains. Another I think the year after is the year we show progress.
Ill allow a Zegras trade… for a Kings ransom. McDavid, Kucherov…someone along those lines. Ill think about it.
I think we definitely improve. Injuries were nuts, we prob get an FA or two, get a captain and some locker room leadership. Young 19 year old kids figured out what it means to play an 82 season league (hard af). If we don’t, then might need to rethink the personnel

Kind of hard not to improve when you’re already on the bottom.
If we can get off to a hot start and sustain above .500pct, I’ll be surprised, but pessimistically I think we’re gonna be looking to end up somewhere around 24th place, maybe like 10pts back from the WC.
I think we’ll see Dostal mature into a bonafide 1G. Mintyukov will hit 21y, 20y Leo, plus fresh legs from Cutter for some proper scoring support.
Will be interesting to see who gets added on the RW/RHD side of things.

The fact that their young kids are getting injured so much tells me they aren’t handling their prospects right,that and no system that I can see is in place
