Swayman in the last 2 years is something like 6-0-0 with a .950 save percentage and a 1.3 GAA against the leafs. Just keep swayman in, hes the guy. The last 2 years have proven that Ullmark just doesn't have the playoff mettle.
I’ve been chirping tf outta JD all year bc he has been just soooo far below his skill level and expectations, but I will give him this, he performs every year in the playoffs…
i will say though he's owning the leafs while being in the goalie rotation being rested so if you put him in twice he has a bad game what if it hurts his mental idk the rotation works and if it aint broke dont fix but still its a tough choice
Swayman needs to be playing the rest. Game 4 will be huge for the Bruins. We need to win game 4 otherwise it will likely go 7.
The refs were riding the leafs the whole game 3. I mean 5 power plays for the leafs vs 3 for bruins. Plus they didn’t even give the goalie delay of game for taking off his mask.
Continue the rotation. Ullmark played well in game 2 and the bruins need to rally up, play well for him and get their offense flowing in game 4. Hopefully pasta shows up because he’s been pretty flat for most of this series thus far.

we are just not allowed to go against an average goaltender in the playoffs. vasilevsky, bobrovsky, tukka rask, swayman, carrey price. And then we have samsunov, rhiemer, bernie,and a bunch of other bums. So frustrating
Boston have an elite goalie playing elite games, and the Leafs have an at best inconsistent goalie that if he is feeling down, lets everything in. The sole reason for the series to be 2-1 for Boston is Goalie Diff.

play Ullmark.. keep with the plan… last year they played Ullmark and a hot start.. then stumbled until it was too late to swap.
Toronto also won't plan for the change and it makes it much harder for them to pick apart any weaknesses over the course of so many games in a row.
