If you’re going to get to the Stanley Cup Final, there will always be a moment or 2 you look back on that got you there. Bobrovsky’s out of this world save in last nights game, was one of those moments. This was a 2 – 2 hockey game. The next goal was going to end up being the winner of this massive game so with Dumba looking at a wide open net, it looked all but over and yet, a diving Sergei Bobrovsky made an acrobatic save unlike anything I’ve ever seen in the NHL Playoffs. But it wasn’t just Bobrovsky that had a highlight reel game. This was a goalie duel for the ages as Andrei Vasilevskiy showed why he’s one of the best in the world on the other end. Its these types of performances that will drive any team they face insane. You can do the right things, outplay a team all night but if you can’t beat the goalie, it can leave you questioning it all. So last night as the Lightning and Panthers squared off for a massive game 2, it was Florida with a couple in the first to make it 2 nothing. Then it was the Lightning, with a couple in the 2nd to square it up. From there, we had the maniacs between the pipes take over to the extent I had to ask myself, what the hell am I witnessing? Your videos would actually be watchable if you didn’t try to do play-by-play and highlights. Stay in your lane. They all start out fairly well but then you try to do the play by play and highlight and then it’s ruined. You are not good at it and sports fans will have already seen the highlights.

As a Cat fan Bob has been a joy to watch over the past 3 years.
I'll praise Bobrovsky's goal tending ALL DAY LONG, even watching this rival team play mine. That stop ESPECIALLY was wild af. But boy, that game was GIVEN to them by the refs. So they deserve some Panther praise, too. One goal given on a blatantly obvious goaltender interference that they dismissed and another on a PP for a tripping that wasn't even reasonably close to a tripping. GG Refs.
The game we just played tonight though, the ref bias is still clear and obvious, but damn we SUCKED.
I was at this game on Tuesday night, the crowds' reaction to that save was unbelievable. We really were celebrating like it was a goal. The whole arena erupted into "BOB-BY BOB-BY" chants. Even on our way out of the arena everyone was chanting Bobby's name.
The Rob from Bob will go down as one of the best saves in the playoffs and I’m so glad I saw it in real time.
