  1. I bought bally sports app on my tv in October and since then have been fully invested in every game this season. Great season! Tonight we need more offensive zone time and more from McCarron and Josi. I'm excited!

  2. I hope you're right about the series opening up. I really do think that style favours Vancouver. The Canucks didn't evolve into this low event boring hockey club until the last half of the season. Ironically that's right around the time our offense fell off a cliff and Pettersen became a ghost. Interesting also that we had 59 points in the first 41 games playing the more wide open and fun hockey and only 50 points playing the low event boring hockey. Some of that was probably a tougher schedule and losing Demko but I honestly feel like Tocchet may have made a tactical mistake with this team impeding his own team at the same they are impeding the opposition. As far as the penalty killing goes I'm not saying Nashville is doing a poor job on the pk but also Vancouver has the second worst power play in the league since the all star break. They were a top 5 power play the first half of the season and than they just dropped off a cliff. So saying Vancouver has a very good power play is inaccurate. More like they used to have a good power play and they should have a good power play but they just don't. Again a lot of that is related to the play of Pettersen falling off a cliff. He triple clutches on shots and then makes bad passes that are intercepted. His stick is where a once great power play goes to die. So don't be surprised by the Canucks pp it likely won't be a factor all series or if it is in a negative way. Same thing with the pk which has been so much better in the last couple months. Vancouver is currently a much better ok team than those stats would lead you to believe. Vancouver kind of flip flipped in the second half to a team with a dynamic pp and poor pk to a team with a poor pp and good pk. This whole flip to a defensive juggernaut so to speak has come at the cost of our own offense in all shapes and forms.
