The New York Rangers defeated the Washington Capitals in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals by a score of 4-3 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on 4/23.
It was an exciting and PHYSICAL matchup.
The NY Rangers take a commanding 2-0 series lead into Washington.
There is nothing like Playoff Hockey!
I was hoping to see a little more of Matt Rempe though…

Caps have a similar problem. A lot of young inexperienced players. But it think that first ranger pp was nonsense call. It happens. I don't think Rangers will beat their next opponent. That's not going to be Caps that barley on it.

I'll take Sam Rosen over Sean McDonough anyday. Sam makes me chuckle while McDonough is just MISERABLE to listen to. Also I forget who it was but I think it was Cuylle who nut checked wilson with his stick prior to his blatant elbow lol. It was retaliatory

If Mika gets going watch out especially 5 on 5. When he is on it changes the entire Rangers offense from pretty good to elite. You had a great take on how dynamic Mika can be. He’s also great defensively. It’s great to listen to a respectable logical devils fan. I’m also glad you enjoyed the Panarin hit on Oshie. Caps fans are so butt hurt and crying about it but Oshie was antagonizing all night and Panarin had enough.
