Although the Panthers went up 2-0, the Bolts came back strong in the second getting two in the first 5:46 of the second frame. Florida lost Sam Bennett after he took a Brandon Montour slap shot to the hand, he did not return to the game. What did Paul Maurice say about it postgame? Tuesday’s tilt between the two teams saw a tie game for the final 35 minutes of regulation, with the goaltenders stealing the show. The performance was highlighted by the save heard around the (hockey) world where Sergei Bobrovsky made a spin-o-rama save on Lightning defenseman Matt Dumba, and a stop on a breakaway by former Panther Anthony Duclair. The two discuss their three stars of the game, when they thought the game was won, and discuss the history of the Panthers in playoff overtime and the company Carter Verhaeghe is in with now his fifth overtime winner in the postseason. Great game! The adrenaline is still pumping after that one. Bob looked like Neo in the Matrix on that amazing save. Bummer to read that Sam Bennett will miss "at least a week" but very relieved that it was not worse news. When I saw him get hit by the slap shot I was concerned that he might have broken his hand or wrist and miss the rest of the playoffs. Presume Lundell will move up a line to replace him (although he and Eetu have great chemistry when on the ice together).
