he had to play the puck because the first player back was an av, missed the puck trying to avoid the check. the real problem was pionk letting up and opening up space in the middle.

Martin Brodeur is the only goalie in NHL history I know of who got good enough at puck handling to do it safely in these situations. No other goalie should try. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

If anyone remembers Winnipeg playoff hockey! Hellybuck can duck up playing the puck. So the players should know that and he’ll! At helly Hard! Hard Hard! I don’t hear nothing from the D men. I even heard rumours that big bufflin had issues with helly and their cup runs together. With the mis cues and what not! Total momentum changer. Unless he does some wicked saves next game to earn the momentum back
