Which team shows up this time? The Jerts, the Jets or something in between? I’d say overall, it’s been something in-between, and that’s not gonna do it for playoff hockey.
We need a complete and simple game. Absolutely 0 goals need to be pretty. We do a decent job of forcing neutral zone turnovers, even when we’re not at our best. I want to see those turn-overs become shots on net. Get in there, 1 guy go right to the net. Other guy supports the puck carrier. Carrier shoots the damn thing and hit the net. Make Georgiev make a save. Get the dang rebound.
I don’t know how many of y’all are NFL fans but i just stayed up late on a work night to watch my favorite team take Michael Penix Jr 8th overall. I need a jets W so badly
Here’s my idea for the LTIR stuff, should take a note from the NBA. To have what’s current a team would have to apply for a specific exception that would allow extending the cap.
Even with Tampa that one year Nk was out for the whole season, where in a normal season he would have returned earliest the 2nd round. That seems fair at least.
If Stone was out since November I think that’d be fair. It’s also harder to take advantage of the trade market that early, can’t just get a good player for 1.5 million the rest of the year, and the team has to prove this is an exceptional case and aren’t just adding what will be like 13 million in good players just cause they can.
Which the NHL would deny based on pased history of you know, not having a 6 month timeline, which then wouldn’t meet the exceptional need.
