Well. This isn’t good
Feel like everything that could go wrong is happening
We’re pulling a Dallas… just completely different team from the one that showed promise in march. Kuch has been a shell of himself, D has been ass as it has all year. Vasy is the only one that’s showed up for this series. Just embarrassing
This team isn’t it
I’m a pretty casual hockey fan. Only catch a handful of games a season and then watch the playoffs. Try to support all Tampa teams.
But this does not feel like the fast paced team I watched in the playoffs the last 3-4 years. Especially the back to back years. It feels so slow compared to other teams.
Is it injuries? Is it burn out? Why does there seem to be a lack of fire from this team?
We needed to come out absolutely firing and win this game emphatically. Some ugly bunk win where we get 6 pps and score on 1 or 2 is just a sympathetic participation trophy.
This many close calls in just a couple games, yeah it just isn’t our year
Just give up and fuck off to your offseason to write your bullshit story about how we will somehow be back. We’re fucking done and the new pens. Fuck losing every year round 1 for the next 5 years followed by missing every year. Fuck this.

Not,feeling a ton of hope here. Even if they come back strong and score a goal or two. They’ll let off the gas as soon as they get back in it and Florida will just effortlessly come back down score. I’ve seen this too many times lately.

I’ve only watched about 7 min of that period, and I’ve never seen so many mishandled pucks, and pucks bouncing off sticks. Also the officiating is predictably horrendous but that’s standard.

I want major fucking changes to this team. I mean serious major retool moves not bullshit tweaking at the edges. It’s so fucking plainly obvious we’re not even in the same stratosphere as these fucks or any contenders. Holy fuck.
Cernak gone: 5.2 cleared for a dman whose only redeeming quality is defence and he can’t do it that well anymore plus he’s always hurt
Cirelli: like his heart but as a 2C and making 6.25 it’s not good enough
Stamkos: love him too but to pay 6-7 million for a 34 year old pp specialist that can’t do it 5v5 is trash and not what we need
Basically our only redeeming players are probably kuch, point, hagel, Hedman (hopefully he doesn’t decline), serge hopefully and Vasy. Decent core but there isn’t enough there with this team.
