This Tampa Bay Lightning fan will remain neutral in this series. I have no beef with the Golden Knights. What rule did they break? Anyone who wants to complain needs to keep in mind that before the Kraken and Golden Knights launched, the NHL held a vote to change the LTIR rules. Only the Lightning and the Blues voted for any changes, so that's why the status quo remains. Because of that vote, blame the 28 clubs who wanted everything to remain the same for why the Knights did what they did.
Vegas is the NHL equivalent of those extreme couponers from the early 2000s 😂 at best theyre just lucky on the injury front and able to abuse a rule harder than anyone every year. At worst theyre actually cheating.
Everyone ragging against vegas and 'cap circumvention' should really go check out cap friendly! Vegas is currently third on the list behind Tampa Bay and Toronto. Can someone explain to my why Vegas is the only team being harped on for this that isn't 'because we are scared vegas will win a second cup' I'd love to know. Gary Bettman handed them a playoff ready team when they entered the league, and it's obvious when you compare them to the Seattle Kraken. And this whole putting people on LTIR to sign better players before the playoffs is complete BS. Finally, they don't play exciting hockey. They play offensively until they get a lead then they play defensively the rest of the game and it's boring as hell. I could say more but I think I've said enough. You will not catch me dead cheering for this scumbag team and I hope they lose 4 straight to the Stars.

As a Vegas fan its unfortunate, becuase I absolutely love the sport and want to connect with other fans and talk about it, but everyone is so vitriolic towards me it makes me not want to engage with the sport on social media whatsoever.

So him scoring was just icing on the cake.😂 Pretty sure he wasnt quite healthy enough to play game 1 but he took a chance. Haters tears fuel good teams. Keep em coming. Oh, and half the teams in the playoffs are over the cap.
