The announcers have been garbage
I was resistant to cries of Dallas greatness until late in the season. and then I, too, fell for the claims of a deep run, particularly with so many other teams in the west having flaws on raw display. Boy, do I fell dumb now. 🤣
This just feels so gutting as a Dallas fan. Nobody to blame but ourselves, but man do I hate Vegas.
It didn’t matter, but the officiating was horrible. The fact that the fans get to see the replay of the puck going off the glass on the delay of game calls but the referees don’t review that is so embarrassing for the league.

It is SO NICE to read positive comments about the VGK. As a fan, you really never know how they’re going to come out. It sometimes takes them 40 mins to realize they’re playing.

I knew this was a terrible matchup and so far thats how its looking.
People really looked at a Vegas team that was nearly the exact same as their cup winning team but with even better players added in at the deadline and thought theyd go out round 1. Doesnt make sense to me.

I am a huge jetz fan. I pull for the jetz. However, lvgk need to be stopped. Go Colorado go. Looks like Dallas is doomed. The nhl ltir is fustrating and is ‘ruining’ the playoffs.
The Golden Knights were 8-1 in the regular season versus the Stars (3-0), Jets (3-0), and Avalanche (2-1). If the regular season means anything, then the Golden Knights are likely going to make the Western finals. We'll see.
Vegas fans are insufferable
I hear a lot about DeBoer this and that and I get it but tonight was soley on the players. They knew what was in front of them and what they had to do and there's way too much talent and veteran experience on the team to come out and lay a big ol whopping 1 goal while their goaltender has a helluva comeback game. I don't want to hear about cap circumvention either because what most dont realize is that 11/16 teams in the playoffs at this moment are over the cap. The one guy on Dallas that I think is actually playing well and doing his job is Tanev who they more than likely won't have next season. Vegas is clearly the better team and the hungrier team and to beat them you are going to have to match that which Dallas isn't doing.
Vegas GM need to teach 31 other GMs how to play the ltir game better. I wouldn't be surprised if they win it again this year. What an incredible organization they have.
I have to go with the Stars coaching staff on this one. The entire game it seemed like they ONLY played defense against VGK. Except the 1st goal with the 2 on 0 against us. It seemed like they were told to focus on D and that's it. Well… a lot of good that did now we are down 0-2. I have to say PDB may need to look elsewhere. This can't keep happening. All that hard work in the regular season to so far….. look like we will be swept in Round 1. I have no worries about the VGK. They may beat us but they won't go far in the Western Conference. It will be sad if we get eliminated in Round 1 but maybe that's what this team needs to see this year. This "choking" crap needs to stop. Otter played good last night. GO STARS!!!
