Florida has a 2-0 series lead; Game 3 is Thursday in Tampa at 7.

Tuesday, Sam Bennett scored to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead — then assisted on Vladimir Tarasenko’s goal on the power play later in the period.

The Lightning tied the score at 2 with two goals in the second from Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos.

Sergei Bobrovsky, who was spectacular all night, made 21 saves in the win.

Carter Verhaeghe scored 2:59 into overtime for Florida. He now has five OT goals in playoffs — tied for third all-time in NHL history.
