  1. I just think you can’t underestimate the optics of Swayman literally having never lost to the team we are playing in this series… and then putting on the performance he did in game 1. That alone might garner enough mental real estate to have a tangible effect on the series lol. I think people don’t understand that we are not criticizing Ullmark, who was the Bruins best player last night. I am just fundamentally opposed to the idea platooning the goalies regardless of how well they perform in a particular matchup. In the playoffs all that matters is how you match up against the one team you’re playing.. not what we did across 82 games against 32 teams. Swayman has the better results by far against Toronto and only gave up one goal against them in a dominant victory in game 1. They are playing with fire imo. Health, performance and matchups should determine what they do in goal

  2. Numbers don't lie!!! Sawyman is 4-0 against leafs… so sick of this dual top goalie thing. Use Sawyman, focus energy on offensive, and defensive lines.

  3. They need to throw the kitchen sink at Samsonov and generate more chaos in front of him too. You’re right Conor, he’s not this unstoppable force

  4. If peeke isnt going.. Gotta play Lohri and get the second PP out 1st. They are the only ones scoring

  5. Put swayman back in and don’t take him out u want to sign this guy long term there’s no reason to do that if you don’t ride him here cause a team will pay him… Ullmark will be traded anyways

  6. Whether ya like it or not, Van Rymsdyk would look better on the 4th line than Maroon. Need more speed. Boqvist, Beecher, Van Rymsdyk…..nice line

  7. That is true, Linus didn’t cause the Bruins to lose, it was giving up a goal seconds later after scoring.and a dreadful 3rd period. This is the playoffs man

  8. The goalie issue is the least of our worries…I love Swayman but he wasn’t going to go 10-0 and Ullmark played well!

  9. TO could win the next two or the Bruins could too, but things are starting to stack up against the Bruins. Peeke’s loss is big. Need the big guys to score more too.

With that – Florida will crush either one of these teams. Easily. They are that good this year.

  10. 1. Coach Montgomery says his team was too slow in the third game. It's hard to disagree with him because it was so obvious. However, with 48 seconds left in the game, a deficit of just one goal but with the advantage of a throw-in in the opponent's zone, he leaves Boqvist and Beecher (two of the fastest players) on the bench of the team and who have proven their talent). Not very consistent!

    2. Losing Brazeau will hurt. The JB line worked very well. The fourth line caused torment to the opponent and Brazeau's physical play had its effect around the opposing net. Maroon replaced him well in the first game… but already, in the second, he was no longer keeping up the pace.

  11. I dont hear how Leafs coaching out coached Monty!!!!!
The forecheck changes and breakout changes were key.
Monty didnt adjust and lost the game.
