I don’t think the Caps got “roasted” tonite. This game was way too close for comfort. Happy the Rangers won but they still have some toughening up to do. It won’t be easy going in Washington’s rink.
I know the NHL wants the Rangers to win but Holy make it less obvious. Outside of that panarin headshot can we not talk about the Rangers having 6 guys on the ice for half of the game, even on NAKS hook the Rangers deadass had 3 D and 3F on the ice it was abysmal
Washington got into the playoffs purely by chance, in my opinion. Ovechkin is weak, he just stands and waits for someone to give him a pass for a goal. I don’t argue, maybe 10 years ago he played differently, but hockey was different then.

Panarin hit was clean with his shoulder to a short man’s face and body. But we have to try to prevent concussions nowadays so I guess I get it.

As a rangers fan, I'm happy they won…. but what is going on with these refs, ON BOTH SIDES. Maybe the most inconsistent officiating I've ever seen.
