  1. I do think at the end of his career he goes back to Chicago. But I hope yzerman signs him to a reasonable 3 yr contract which I think it will take to keep him.

  2. He belongs and should be a Blackhawk. I would love to see him stay in Detroit, however it depends on his goal, cup comfort or enjoyment =Other/blackhawks/wings. He’s a defensive liability but he’s essential for our power play.

  3. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back there. If he doesn’t want a cup and wants term most of all he might just go back to Chicago. They have endless capspace and would have fun setting up Bedard. He could proably as much term as he wants there

  4. Wasn't he the one that was looking to leave Chicago? I can definitely see him doing a one-off or one day contract for his retirement being in Chicago.

  5. Give him a blank check for 2 years Chicago.. after that Bedard and all the prospects coming off their rookie deals can get a fair raise

  6. I would love for him to sign in Detroit for three years. But how much is he asking for? 5? 6? 7? million… As much as I like the idea of him on the team the more he costs the more we let go.

  7. Kaner is cup chasing I don't see him returning home yet. I expect Kaner coming back to the Windy City when he's ready to retire. Using Hawks Insider as a source is never good they are just made for clicks they have Zero Credibility.

  8. IMO the only fear players fear from Kane is the puck on his stick in the offensive zone. (In the SO as well) Otherwise Kane does not raise the bar anywhere on the ice other than in the offensive zone.
