The NHL playoffs are making fans unhinged

The Winnipeg Jets played a wild game one against the Colorado Avalanche, whereas the Vancouver Cancuks faced off against the Nashville Predators. We talk more about all the games here. #hockey #nhl #stanleycup

  1. both goalies got plastered the crowd was looking to see if anyone in the stadium wanted to play goal.

  2. I was excited for this series and it didnt disappoint. Battle of florida is probably my #2. We play the Knights tonight, and I'm excited for it, but there's better series for sure.

  3. Nashville gave the #Canucks a scare?
Im sorry son but what game were you watching? Obviously it wasnt the Canucks game because even when they went down they played their game 100% and didnt budge! If they weee scared they would have been trying to make innecessary plays and making mistakes but they didnt!

  4. That's par for the course for Jets playoff crowd. Some of the ones in the old barn were pretty ruthless as well as section 300 in the phone booth, but man, that old barn was loud

  5. You've not watched Jets hockey often I'm guessing. The "Pull the Goalie" chant is mild and kinda a thing with Jets' fans. They have this habit of chanting at the goalie and it's usually something fun. I recall "Silver Medal" and "Who's your Captain?" being some of the better ones.

  6. i never understand what the crowd is chanting but i knew that the jets fans were talking shit and i loved it hahaha

  7. I find it a bit disturbing that virtually everyone in the audience has a jersey. And of the same color. Also when Calgary's in the playoffs, they also have a disturbingly unified "dress code".

  8. As a Jets fan, I think we have some of the best/unhinged chants, for example:
“Katie Perry”- chirp for Corey Perry back in 2015 playoff series (which we lost 4-0 lol)
“You need glasses” chant to refs that make bad calls

And last and certainly most unhinged,
“No means no” to Patrick Kane following the allegations against him

  9. If you consider yourself a fan of this latest version of NHL fight nights, then you're already considered unhinged, playoffs not withstanding. It has descended into a competition primarily amongst thugs where anything goes to appeal to the bloodlust.
