Steve Dangle had a rant earlier this year about how it’s a mistake if the other team has the puck, gets it into your zone, has a shot attempt, a shot on goal, and a high danger chance but that’s why you have a goalie. Just 1 or 2 saves gets us the win and that’s not asking much at all.
That is the worst game I have seen the Jets play in a long time. They made the Avs look much better than they are. Jets were slow and way too tight. Expect a much harder Jet team to play against on Tuesday.

Should of used the emergency goalie last night. Even a Winnipeg beer league goalie would of posted a 70% save percentage
I think MacKinnon played adequate defense on that 5th goal. The guy is semi tied up, just move your feet. The 6th PP goal like you said why didnt he move over? 7th goal Lehky has his stick on Connor and Manson is close to him to so just make a save

Avs fans are butthurt about their goalies performance (or lack thereof) but letting in that many goals against the Jets is on par with their season against them. It was Hellebuyck who let in more than usual/had a rough night. During the regular season the Jets scored 17 goals in 3 games against the Avs (5.6 goals/game average) while the Avs scored 4 goals in 3 games (1.3 goals/game average). Based on those stats alone, it's clear to me that the Jets should be more upset about goaltending issues than the Avs as their goalie (Gorgiev) performed as expected 🤷🏼
And Helleybuck is not gonna let in 6 goals again

The Ava defence allowed all those shots, Jet scored good goals. Avs scored half there goals on deflections and one bouncy bouncy goal.
Two deflections and one bouncy bouncy puck weren’t Connor H fault.
And absolutely NOTHING will change in game 2. We ALL know that! Georgiev is the Yoko Ono of hockey. Great review though!
