We’ll see… I think Prosvetov will be back up to Georgie. Hopefully I’m wrong.

This tells me Juice is still too sick to play, so Prosvy is either starting or backup to #40 so they can actually pull him when needed. Couldn’t with Holm as backup.

Prosvetov had a .921 save % with the Eagles this year.

  4. I dont like this…. guessing that means Annunen isnt likely going to be ready to go and they want a backup with NHL experience in Georgiev shits the bed again…. fuuuuuuuuuuuck.

If Annunen is sick .. King Georgie will start and Prosvetov will back up

Id like to think if we didnt make bonehead defensive mistakes last night we’d win, its unrealistic to expect to play a perfect degensive game tho each night

We’re all going to read a ton into this, and I’m not sure we should.

Not unusual to have 3 goalies up for a playoff run. Better to have Pros than a 3rd string AHL goalie.

That said, my hot take is Juice is still too sick to go so Pros is the backup with Georgie on a super short leash.

our goaltender situation is a mess

  8. My goodness we might actually have a chance in the series now!

Guess I was right. Georgie will get the start with a short leash, but at least we have a backup with some experience this time in case he shits the bed again.

It’s got to be Prosvetov starting. Anything else is insanity. I can’t imagine a guy like MacKinnon being so willing to throw the towel in on the season by keeping G on the ice for one more minute for this team. Worst case with Ivan we can’t score six on Helly again.

Just play Ivan. It gives us the best chance to win.

Could this also be Annunen is starting but Georgie is going to step down and get some help with his anxiety, player assistance?

Panic moves. We are cooked. Pure incompetence by management to have a team with this much firepower and hand string them and not take care of what’s been a known deficiency for a long time now.

Thank the motherfucking lord. At least we have someone to swap in.

Can’t believe we’re gonna get bounced in the first round again because of Georgiev forgetting how to do his job. Can you imagine any of us having as long of a leash at any of our jobs as this fucking clown has at his? Sickening

I mean, it is what it is. Takes the decision out of it I think

Didn’t we have like 4 milly left at the trade deadline? Guess hindsight is 20/20 or there were legit no other good options. Looks like this may be Georgie’s last chance, and maybe ever as an Avs

I will riot if we start Georgie again. No. Just no. We cannot. We cannnnnnotttt play this dude anymore holy hell

With Annunen not ready yet, this is the move. Throwing him into the fire might be risky. If I was the coach I’d be starting Georgie and watching for the second the save % drops below .90

Then Prosvetov gets his shot until Annunen is well.

  19. Buzzsaw_Dynamo

I thought Prosvotov played well with the exception of his last start. Hope he does great, he was doing great on the Eagles.

  20. someguyfromsk

Plot twist, Prosvetov will be the cup winning goalie.

  21. At this point don’t put Georgie back out for his own sake. He cannot be in a good place mentally right now. I’m worried that they’ll push him past his breaking point. I don’t like how negative the narrative around him has become.
