What a suprise I never seen Mark Stone ever playing again let alone this year’s playoffs…😂
These rules won’t change until another team takes advantage, immediately the LTIR or playoffs CAP rules are amended and changed.

Why are you, as a podcaster/Vancouver Canuck fan, upset? Isn't Stone the person at risk? If it was a Canuckle-head player, taking advantage of the system, then it would be alright. lol
It is simple LTIR should work the same way in the playoffs that it does in the regular season (in essence CAP should be in effect for every game played in the NHL). This isn't a hard situation to handle, no idea why there is even a moments hesitation in clearing this up.

Would making a rule – Anyone going onto LTIR during the season means you miss the rest of the season and playoffs? Would that help with teams trying to misuse the LTIR ?
2021-2022 Vegas didn't make the playoffs. The easy fix for this is just make lineups have to be cap compliant.
Leafs wouldn’t have Bertuzzi and Domi without LTIR. Be careful what you wish for….
Rule Changes I'd like to see:
1. LTIR most of the season and just healthy for playoffs? If team is not cap compliant then said player (eg. Stone) cannot play in Game 1 of each series. Exceptions for goalie.
2. A team that is cap compliant facing a team that is not cap compliant can dress up to 2 extra players so long as their roster cap hit is the equal or less than their opponent.
How about this, if you're still on LTIR and the season is officialy over you cant play until round 2
It's a joke. Salary cap should be enforced through the playoffs
People seem to forget we didn't make the playoffs in 2022 so it hasn't been 3 years in a row
I hope all 32 teams start doing this every season.
