McDavid is 4th player EVER to reach 100 ASSISTS! πŸ’―πŸŽ

With his assist on Zach Hyman’s goal, Connor McDavid becomes just the 4th player to reach 100 assists in a season, and the first since Wayne Gretzky in 1990-1991

  1. The 3 players who've reached 100 assists before are the 3 best players of all-time: Gretzky, Lemieux, and Orr. McDavid could join that group when his career is done.

  2. Kuch may get 0 assist next last game to end his season at 99 assists, that would be a possibility. But glad Conner got 4th in history instead of 5th.

  3. Great players who have reached that milestone prove their unselfishness. They are happy to give goals to team mates.

  4. wow hyman has 54 goals. We're definitely back in a high goal scoring era. Maybe time to bring back the bigger pads like ovi had to play against!

  5. Now I don't know what's crazier, McDavid and Kuch probably both getting 100 apples, Matthews maybe getting 70 goals, or the fact that Hyman has 54 goals lol

  6. Shoutout to the sharks, you gotta have that one team that lets all the other teams take a break lol

  7. Another great individual achivement. Hopefully he will achive something in the NHL with a team one day.

  8. A prophecy once spoke of another great in Edmonton. That prophecy being my hopeful self in 2010

  9. Oilers fans apparently can have no nice things, as Kucherov just 1-up'd McDavid with 100 assists of his own. Still a great accomplishment though.
