Laval Rocket eliminated from qualifying for the playoffs by the Belleville Senators 4/19/24

In the Rocket’s 2nd to last game of the season, the Belleville Senators beat the Rocket, 3-2, to qualify for the final playoff spot in the North Division. The Rocket needed to win the game in regulation time and Saturday’s game vs. the Senators in regulation time. The Senators’ Egor Sokolov tied the game at 2 at 14:18 of the 3rd period. The Rocket pulled their goalie to try to regain the lead prior to the end of the 3rd period, but Sokolov scored an empty net goal with 1 second left for the 3-2 win.
