Can’t even blame refs for this one like I’ve seen many leafs fans doing. When domi literally clapped mcavoy in the back of the head not once but TWICE, and only got called for ONE of them that being the first that they then send equal amount of bruins to the box for Toronto committing a cheap shot, which then directly leads to a 4 on 3 in favor of Toronto when lindholm commits a penalty.💀 not to mention a clear bs delay of game despite the puck touching the glass then going out, and a leafs too many men not called at the end of the game.

Neutral fan here. I agree with Steve the leafs didn’t play a terrible hockey game. They were competitive at 5v5 at least the first two periods and they shit the bed on some chances that they definitely should’ve scored.
But the thing about snot or grit definitely rings true as someone who didn’t watch the leafs that much in regular season and basing my take on just this game. The leafs’ idea of grit seems to be to just take a bunch of penalties which makes you lose the game instantly because, shocker, playoff teams have good power plays.
Playing with grit is about fighting to turn pucks over and giving good chances and space to your scorers, and that’s really not what the leafs were doing this game.
Now for a little tangent, Reaves to me is a perfect example of the kind of player that maintains the image of playing with grit but who doesn’t really bring any of those benefits to his team when you look at how he actually plays. But that’s just my subjective opinion as a hater.
If they played like they did the first 10 mins of the third boston is no match for the leafs…dont matter what structure the bruins have…problem is thats the exception too many times instead of the standard…and marner is playing scared

The only reason I'm watching your videos is I'm waiting for a heart attack on yt… The "best" goalscorer is a nothing else than a looser, a egotistical jerk unable to play for a team instead only for himself. Goalscoring is not enough, individual skills and numbers only for show. I hope the leaf learn their lessons soon before they are swapped away by the Bruins
What really sucks about the Bruins rivalry is we can’t do ANYTHING to get under their fans skin
Every other rival we at least have something to work with
– maybe we can take over their arena

– maybe we stole a playoff series from them and got a few regular wins
– maybe we clowned a guy right out of the building
