Let's just hope they meant to lose. Vegas are 3-0 this season vs Dallas. Granted 2 wins were in OT and they were all last year. They are 1-2 against Edmonton with a recent 5-1 loss playing them without McDavid…. Makes sense to me why they would choose Dallas
if you stick with the hot hand for goaltending there's no way they should start Hill, yes he brought us a cup but he's playing awful as of late
I see lots of dallas bootlickers overrating the stars again. The knights swept them all 3 games this season, outscored by 21-10, shut them out twice in WCF last year and somehow we're the underdogs because we don't have oettinger. That being said, this team better figure out how to play consistent hockey, stay healthy and hill and thompson better wake up.
Playing Oilers late into playoffs will be better. Penalties are less common.

Tony, what you are not realizing is that players/teams KNOWING they are in the playoffs are not going to risk injury. These games at the end are just like pre season…truly meaningless. There is a lot of truth to VGK not caring who they play because you can't tell me that neither Edmonton or Dallas or VGK aren't fully aware of each others scheme's. There won't be a feeling out period to any of these games,trust me. It is all about execution and because we know how to execute (hence winning the Cup) we can afford the Anaheim games.
Now…to me what is concerning is our Goalies.
Man Hill was playing so well before the injury. He never got his Mojo back after that.
