Too much credit given to Colorado. As someone who watched all 82 games this season I can say that the team has been unconvincing all the way through. This season I've never had this feeling of confidence coming from a consistent solid performance of a Cup contender. We will be swept. Also, Miles Wood's contract is now definitely in the top-5 worst contracts in the NHL, given that he did absolutely NOTHING this season. I had a spark of hope after the deadline, when we managed to dump Johansen's dead weight, but there are still too many ineffective guys on the team, and no depth whatsoever. And Georgiev's situation puzzles the hell out of me, mostly because I don't know the process of picking your starter for each given game, and I don't know if he's being overworked or simply just not good enough.

As a Jets fan and Jets meet Dallas in the 2nd round, agree it'll take a huge upset to beat Dallas, they're one of the few teams that Jets just have summon the hockey gods to beat. Anyone else I think they have a good shot. But god damn we were struggling to even score a goal against them all season.

Nucks locking down the Oil not happening? Dude… the Nucks have locked down the Oil all year. They've dominated the Oil and swept them.

The last time the Nucks played the Oil was a week ago and they completely locked them down. Yes there was no McD. However we did not have one of the best goalies in the world in nets for us.

I genuinely don't get picking against the Canes here. They're just as hot as the Isles and they're way deeper than the Isles. The only thing the Isles have up on us is goaltending and with how good Freddie has been, it's still close. That prediction is gonna look real awkward if the Canes smoke the Isles.
And for the second time in a year everyone sleeping on Vegas, not just you Stevie but every single hockey podcast that I watch always has Vegas losing in the first round, nobody has faith in our boys just like last year.
Mr. Dangle sir, you just may have the most far out bracket prediction I have EVER seen (Thanks for teaching me how to annunciate "EVER" throughout the years btw). The 12 year old in me is giggling uncontrollably and rapidly clapping his hands like a little madman. The level of excitement is just too much to handle.
My bracket has canes over isles, panthers over bruins, and canucks over oilers, rest is the same….except i have rangers in 6. I think their first rd exit last year fuels their fire to the end. If you think the top seeds in the final is boring then maybe hockey isnt for you.
