The thing about the NHL since he’s joined the league is that on the Eastern side of things, the same teams consistently make the playoffs, and the same 3 teams hold the top 3 Atlantic spots, so they need to become better than Tampa, Boston, or Toronto. I actually thought Ottawa made huge improvements but they need better goaltending. They’re closer than a lot of other teams and with Washington and Pittsburgh basically on the decline, they will have their chance soon, but so will other teams I guess.
