  1. I've never felt more intellectually stimulated than I do right now. This thread is a veritable playground for the mind.πŸ‘…

  2. "Both teams who have not cared as of late"

Jets have won the last 8, including defeating Dallas 3-0 (before Dallas clinched the division, mind you) and Colorado 7-0.

As for the Avalanche, they are 4-4-2 in their last 10 games played.

I appreciate SDPN and love what you guys are doing, you just need some more resources to get you some more background information before recording these videos (easier said than done when you're trying to build something different, and frankly better from my perspective, than what traditional sports media is currently offering…).

  3. A small part of me wishes producer drew should have been allowed to comment a little bit on this Match up πŸ™

  4. As an Avs fan I can confidently say that Winnipeg will play much better defense and has better goaltending. The Avs have given up among the most high danger chances against this season which has really hurt Georgiev's confidence down the stretch. His underlying numbers actually still show him as a net positive based on GSAx, so if the Avs can tighten up on the back end and limit high danger chances Georgiev can get into a groove, but expect his leash to be short (Annunen possible by game 3). However 2 of 3 games between these teams during the season the Avs were missing a key piece, 1 game Makar, 1 game Rantanen, the game where both teams were full strength was a 4-2 Jets win where Hellebyuck saved 32 of 34. Losing Logan O'Connor will be an underrated massive loss for the Avs PK and bottom 6, my gut says Jets pull it off but it might be tighter than the season series suggests.

  5. Jets have completely turned it on and have won 8 in a row. Idk what you're talking about.

  6. Jets looked way too comfortable in their barn. I think it might be a bad matchup for avs over 7 games.

  7. Jets are a legit threat, but I don't know if Nate Dogg and Makar let this team go out in the first again. Annunen and Mittlestat are huge wild cards

  8. Imagine having to do basic research for your job. How can you even say Jets have been bad to end the season.

  9. As an Avs fan, the goaltending matchup in this series has me shitting bricks. Georgiev has been an unreliable head case who melted down in every single big game down the stretch. Annunen is a promising prospect with starter upside (yet another product of the Duchene trade lmao) but has a limited body of work at the NHL level – he's looked good when he's played, but he hasn't played much and backstopping a cup contender is a lot to ask of a player that young.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like we're about to burn a year of our amazing core's prime on shaky goaltending. My God, is this what being an Oilers fan feels like??

  10. I've been looking at head-to-head matches in the regular season between teams to decide my brackets. I have the Jets in 6

  11. this is brutal…. need to do some research. both teams care, jets won 8 in a row, jets beat dal and avs last time round. stick to the leafs.
