He's not greedy. Would love to see him retire in Pittsburgh.
it's crazy sid is in his mid 30's now. as someone who grew up with Crosby always on the team I can't imagine Pens hockey without him.

Feel privileged to watch him play for so long. Living in Raleigh seeing the Pens come here a few times a year for a long time, always a big deal.
Every generation we are lucky enough to have a small handful of what you can call Hockey Ambassadors. Sid is certainly part of that mold. I do believe he will always be a Penguin and also hope we get to experience what he can do to the game post career.

Crosby is a yuge reason why his team fell short of expectations. If the, ahem, captain hadn't pouted about the Guentzel trade for eight games, seven of which his team lost, it would be headed to the playoffs. He scored all of two points (zero goals) and was minus-12 in that span.

Dubas has no respect for traditions or veterans, he's not a people person. His focus is analytics, and he's only looking at the data that surrounds Crosby. Everything Sid has accomplished and what he means to the fans is meaningless to Dubas. Dubas is a snake…remember his press conferences just 1 week before he signed with Pittsburgh. Sid should walk away from Dubas, and enjoy the twilight years of his career. He deserves it.
He could easily play until 40 but it will depend on his health.
