  1. I think they played like they knew they needed to lose 2 games to get out of the path of the Lightning. And Iā€™m PERFECTLY ok with that.

  2. May the Bs always take the serpentine route and put Chinese mustard on their shots, and may Jack be one who wonā€™t get lost, like the coin that wonā€™t get tossed, rolling home to you.

  3. Jack I will never forget the call "Bergeron Bergeron Bergeron" when the Bees came back from 4 to 1 in game 7 late 3rd vs Toronto.

  4. So the intro was shirts vs skinsšŸ˜Š
Fave Jack call is " they're beating them,, and now they're beating them up"( lucic vs komisarek)
    let's do this playoff thing

  5. Just watched it 3 times and it was a full cross ice past circle to circle moving left to right .. peeke could have screened.. but it looked like he just lost the tracking on it.. when seeing it live last night they had the behind the net angle and it looked like it went between his blocker arm and right pad with a bit of a knuckle to it.. maybe it was deflected too.. I know goalie is hard and šŸ’© happensā€¦ quite often.. just my thoughts. Go Bsssssssss! P.S, need a LowQual vs Dangle collab for this next series!

  6. I donā€™t hate the Leafs right now, nor the Panthers, I hate the Lightning and the Rangers, if they both get knocked out the first round Iā€™ll be tickled

  7. Like the coin that wonā€™t get tossed, I know where itā€™s from, but not sure why he said it every time, guess he was just a big Neil Young fan?

  8. At least Detroit can be proud of how they played their last two games, while we vomit thinking of our last two, people paid good money to watch the Bruins in both of those games , if you are making the money they make you best be putting in 110% every fā€™ing game, sorry here I go again, excuse me for wanting to be proud of my boys and entertained by all 82 games, this season Iā€™m lucky if 10 games fit the bill, how can I expect 16 more in the playoffs, good grief

  9. I enjoyed Jack Edwards the last 19 years, I do t understand all the negative shit about him. I get he was a homer and not everyoneā€™s favorite, but Iā€™ll miss him. I hope NESN gets an appropriate replacement.

  10. If Forbort comes back into the lineup we will absolutely blow it. Iā€™ve been paying attention to his impact all season. We do however need Brazau back.

  11. Jack should have been fired years ago.About time that sack leftšŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦šŸˆšŸ’šŸŗšŸ’€!

  12. Ya, that 'homer' discussion is non-hockey fans/not real fans, or just haven't been fans very long at all. "Jack is such a homer!!!" = "Tell me you don't watch hockey without telling me you don't watch hockey." Local sports networks have always hired homers. Part of the job description is to be a huge fan of the team you're calling. Fans used to know this, seems like many do not anymore. The only non homers calling games are national broadcast teams.

Jack is passionate about hockey, loves it to his core. He's walking away because of his speech slowing and slurring issues, it will be hard for him, as it's not his choice, he's not going out on his own terms. He just can't do it anymore. I feel bad for the guy, he'd keep going if he could. Hope he has a great retirement.

@Ian's nipples, I have started a new service called LonelyFans (my other new service 'Twatch' never got off the ground), if you act now, you can become the first model to sign an exclusive contract with us here at LonelyFans. Think about it….

  13. ā€œWe canā€™t live and die by every resultā€ ā€œfucking relaxā€ needs to be said to a lot of Bā€™s fans right now. I feel like everyone either thinks the sky is falling and weā€™re gonna get swept or we are going to sweep them and breeze on by. Itā€™s neither

  14. We all moaned about jack for years, he was quite possibly the worst commentator in the league ffs – now he retires and everyone suddenly changes tune.

I really hope itā€™s just heā€™s done and nothing health related, good luck to him in retirement but Iā€™m very glad to see the back of him. Talks crap, can barely string a sentence together and makes us look stupid game after game.

As for the team performance – jack has at least given us something else to talk about šŸ˜³ maroon has one job – šŸ§Ø Matthews

  15. ā€œHe put some chinese mustard on that one!!!ā€ Always made me laugh, one of my favorites of his sayings. His voice always gives me nostalgia, he will be greatly missed. All the love to Jack ā¤

  16. Jack Edwards is responsible for me falling back in love with hockey, after the 2004 lockout. I genuinely thought that a lockout meant hockey was done (because I was young). I started watching again, at the tail end of the 2007-2008 and this man's energy and passion made me fall back in love with hockey. I wish him the best

  17. My magic PS3 says that our Bruins will win the first game šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦šŸˆšŸ’šŸŗšŸ’€!

  18. I live out of stateā€¦. Back in the day I didnā€™t get bruins games but once a month I worked at a hospital in Bostonā€¦ Saturday nite at work listening to Jack was one of my lifeā€™s most favorite memoriesā€¦. He made me feel Bostonianā€¦ he made me love the Bruinsā€¦. It was a great run and I wish him health and happinessā€¦ GO Bā€™s!!!

  19. Brain says, "Bruins are looking a little rough; this could be Toronto's year."

Heart says, "dude. We're talking about the Leafs here."

My brain says, "Let's look it up… the last five times they've met in the playoffs… oh. oh, wow. It's worse than I thought. OK. Sure, it does look like we are their kryptonite. However, you do have to acknowledge that the road to Sir Stanley HAS to go through Boston for the Leafs, right? Otherwise all of hockey fandom will append an asterisk to the Cup win. '* Did not beat Boston to get to Cup.' Not after… 1972, 74, 2013, 18, and 19."

Heart sighs, "Again, my dude, it. Is. The. Leafs."

    "But…"

"First, you think too much, which… your job, so fair. Second, sure, IF and that is a very big I F, Toronto EVER does it, it HAS to go through the Garden. But, It's the Leafs. Take your statistics outside and leave them there. It's GO time!"
