A winning team would go a long way to a new area. If you can not even get into the playoffs in the nhl ,and can not see a regular season game in the saddledome, why should tax payers have to pay for a new arena when even with the saddledome prices they can not afford to go and see a game. (and that is if they wanted to). I understand that the flames bring lots of revenue to some calgarians , but to non hockey people why do their taxes have to go to because of this building that they will probably not be in? This I present to the other logical end of the argument and it is a great prospective .
