They did just that by Blank the first place in the Atlantic BruinsCharlie Lindgren was HUGE and all it took was the goal by John Carlson from the blue line and a late goal by Nic Dowd to cement the Capitals win. This game had huge implications in the regard that if they lost they would have most assuredly been out of playoff contention.John Carlson has been absolutely clutch for the Capitals as of late and that was no exception tonight. John Carlson broke the record for most goals by a Capitals blue liner on Saturday and he kept the positive mojo going Monday night in the District.Carlson found twine in the first period for his 10th goal of the season and fourth point in three games. This is now Dowd’s sixth consecutive season scoring double digit goalsGetting shots on goal is something the Capital have struggled with this season, but they sure found it tonight. The Caps finished the night leading 25-16 in SOG. Capitals understood the gravity of this game and they found a way to answer the bell when they had to.

man I just started watching your podcast each day, I am from MTL and capitals is my favorite team to watch since 2016, I was sure they would win a cup their teamplay, special team and strategy is amazing. But there is really a lack of contents, podcast on this team. Keep going man I really like your video. (sorry for my english).

I love how Charlie played, but gotta give some props to Swayman. Dude faced a Caps team that was firing on all cylinders and only allowed one goal.
Also, no penalties! That was huge! Caps played clean and hard. And that robbery at the end! I’m not sure how Dowd wasn’t arrested after that one.

Charlie Lindgren playing with a purpose. He wants that #1 spot. He earned it my opinion. Darcy a big disappointment but no surprise. He was injured alot in COLORADO and just got hot at the right time in the playoffs.
