It would be nice if the Senators would beat the Rangers in regulation tonight (fat chance I know) and the Blue Jackets beat the Hurricanes tomorrow night so the Stars would have a chance at the Presidents' Trophy.

If you look down the roster, we’ve got 9 players counting Harley that have 20 goals. That’s a wagon! Jim Nill should be given kudos. There is more determination and hustle in this lineup across all special teams and 5 on 5. Marquee names are backchecking and how fun is it now to see some great offensive playmaking. I go to a ton of home games. I watch all the rest of them on TV. They have 5 or 6 guys worthy of consideration.
But……
Miro Heiskanen is the MVP.
He is their best and most consistent player and he is playing out of position.
Most teams it’s easy to name a MVP but this team is so balanced and so deep it’s very difficult, I hope it’s Vegas in round 1 and the dragon is slain.
Robo's been playing at a Selke level this year, for real. Despite the goal scoring being down, hes my MVP for being able to adapt his game and still be very effective
